1. Customer Focus & Service Excellence
Policy Statement: MZEEVTU prioritizes our customers by delivering efficient, reliable, and user-friendly services. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and responsive support.
Guidelines:
• User-Centric Design: All platform features and services (airtime, data, cable TV, electricity, exam pins, betting, crypto, bank transfers) are designed with the user experience and convenience at the forefront.
• Service Availability: We strive for high availability of our services, with clear communication during scheduled maintenance or unforeseen outages.
• Prompt Support: We commit to providing timely and effective customer support for all inquiries and issues.
2. Data Privacy & Protection
Policy Statement: MZEEVTU is deeply committed to safeguarding the personal and financial data of our users, adhering strictly to Nigerian data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and relevant CBN guidelines.
Guidelines:
• Lawful Processing: Personal data is collected and processed only for specific, legitimate, and lawful purposes with user consent.
• Data Minimization: We only collect data that is necessary for providing our services.
• Data Security: Robust technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption, access controls, firewalls, regular security audits) are implemented to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration.
• Confidentiality: All MZEEVTU personnel are bound by strict confidentiality agreements regarding customer data.
• Data Subject Rights: We respect and facilitate users' rights regarding their data, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection to processing, in line with NDPA.
• Breach Notification: In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within 72 hours, as required by law.1
3. Security & Fraud Prevention
Policy Statement: MZEEVTU maintains a strong security posture to protect our platform and users from cyber threats, fraud, and illicit activities.
Guidelines:
• Cybersecurity Measures: Implementation of industry-standard cybersecurity practices, including multi-factor authentication, regular penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Know Your Customer (KYC):
i. Strict KYC procedures are applied during user onboarding to verify identity.
ii. Transactions are monitored for suspicious patterns to detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
iii. All suspicious activities will be reported to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) as mandated by the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act.
• Fraud Detection: Utilizing advanced systems and trained personnel to identify and mitigate fraudulent transactions across all service offerings (e.g., airtime, data, betting, bank transfers).
• Compliance with Cybercrimes Act: Adherence to the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, including reporting cyber threats to the National Computer Emergency Response Team (ngCERT) within stipulated timelines.
4. Regulatory Compliance
Policy Statement: MZEEVTU operates in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by relevant Nigerian regulatory bodies.
Guidelines:
• Licensing: Maintain all necessary licenses and approvals from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other relevant authorities for our FinTech operations.
• Consumer Protection: Adhere to consumer protection frameworks, including those from the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and CBN, ensuring transparency, fair treatment, and accessible dispute resolution.
• Reporting: Timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies as required (e.g., transaction reports, AML reports).
5. Acceptable Use of Services
Policy Statement: MZEEVTU's platform is designed for legitimate financial transactions. Users must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
Guidelines:
• Prohibited Activities: Users must not engage in any illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to, spamming, phishing, distribution of malware, or unauthorized access.
• Content Standards: User-generated content (if applicable, e.g., profile names) must be appropriate and not violate any third-party rights or laws.
• Fair Usage: Users are expected to use services within reasonable limits, avoiding excessive or abusive consumption of resources.
• Consequences of Violation: Violation of this policy or the AUP may result in account suspension, termination, reporting to authorities, and forfeiture of funds, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

• Technology Updates: Regular updates and upgrades to our platform's technology and security infrastructure.
